Is the Sony FX3 still the best affordable cine camera out there? In this video, we put the FX3 through two different real-world setups to find out. First, we test the camera the way most videographers actually use it, shooting internal S-Log3 with Sony GM lenses in a lightweight run-and-gun configuration. Then we rebuild the FX3 into a full cinema rig, recording external RAW and pairing it with Cooke SP3 cine lenses to see how far the image can be pushed in a narrative environment.
